Well.. If you had any hopes of the US economy and the country itself rebounding back to a golden era you can kiss that though goodbye. You see, in this country we give special rights to evil, puss filled, dried up crotch rot companys and we are letting them have a hayday with patents.
A San Diego company, was recently granted a patent for “using graphics and text to sell things over the web” and another for “accepting information to conduct automatic financial transactions via a telephone line & video screen“. In short, they’ve patented E-Commerce.
What have they done with their patents? It’s what we do best here in the US, we sue the smaller companies in order to build up enough money to take on the big boys like ebay, etc.
Ahh shit, I have to go help cook dinner. In short, these are truely sad times. Here is a link of a company that is attempting to stand up to these thugs.
