According to a BBC story (the link to which I righteously, and with malice and forethought, ganked from the inimitable Zebulun), Linda Lovelace (nee’ Boreman) died Monday as a result of internal injuries suffered during a car crash.
Linda led a complex life. After her brief career in porno, she has long claimed that she was coerced into making the movie that made her famous, Deep Throat. In one of her autobiographies, Linda says her ex-husband, Chuck Traynor (who produced Deep Throat) held a gun to her head to make her film some of the scenes; since then, she’s been a prominent anti-pornography activist. Well, if I were forced to perform at gun-point I’d probably be an anti-porn activist too, so I’m having trouble thinking of something not-objectionable-but-still-funny to say about her. Boobies!
I’m pretty sure this picture isn’t her, but it’s the best I could find. Linda Lovelace, dead at 53.
eod: good lord how many times is this pictures gonna appear on pen!?
fen: obvious answer- as many times as it’s funny, plus three.
