The RIAA is asking congress for money now. I have had it. I have wrestled with this issue for 2 years now. The record company price gouging and collusion, being called a criminal by the music companies, the increasing release of music CD’s that won’t play in my computer, the constant onslught of Britney and NSync and the refusal to even consider the needs of the modern consumer have all driven me over the edge.

I announce my full entry into this consumer revolution. I will now pirate music at will and not feel one bit of qualm about it. I will also actively assist others in doing so.

When all CD’s use technology that thwart my CD-ROM drive ripping, I will carefully record and encode what I can to bypass watermarking.

We’re mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore. Big music is going down.
