How many of you remember the proper way to respect the flag, how to hang it, and rules for its handling?

Just in case you dont remember, or haven’t taken a civics class, here is a link containing instructions on proper respect and handling for the flag: Link

Now, how many of you would expect the president, the Commander In Chief, someone with a Military background (no matter how shady) to remember this?

I give you: Bush defacing the flag.

Could it be he doesn’t remember the rules, or is he just of the mindset that to have a flag signed by “The Great Bush” is above normal respect rules? Then again, the people asking him to sign are probably the same ones with tattered remains of flags hanging off their SUV windows.
