Many of us were insecure during our teen years. In fact, many of us have graduated from being just insecure to also being neurotic. Eventually, we get to the point where we pay people to tell us that its OK to have an easily bruised ego and a small penis. These people we pay are specially trained to make us feel better about ourselves and hate others. Eventually we give up on these people and just start in with old fashioned paranoia, which is much more healthy. The BBC, however, has taken issue with this natural order of things. With a site designed to tell teens that they are ‘not a freak’ they have decided to tackle such issues such as spontaneous erections, penis envy, and ‘is everyone getting some but me’ with some flash videos complete with links to articles explaining that no, you are not a freak, and people are all different and just as insecure as you. If you are interested in seeing these affronts to human nature, click here. But they dont just stop there. They even want women to feel secure in their bodies and not go out of their way to remove excess body hair or hang heavy things from their labias! I have no idea where they get the nerve, but they even have a movie celebrating the period… and they named it ‘first blood’. I have to admit that I was expecting a different type of video than what was displayed on my screen. Anyway… if you are interested in witnessing these for yourself (for educational purposes of course) then click here. I cant even begin to fathom where they get off trying to educate teenagers while at the same time arousing a sense of humor. Can you imagine a world where such a thing was commonplace? Hmmm.
