A good friend of mine recently picked up a $440 1989 Civic for commuting to work. A reliable, fuel efficent cruiser, something plain, while his project cars get some much needed downtime. Such as his 356 speedster, 78 Caddy, or Suzuki GSXR 750 R. Of course, as someone who canot leave something alone, he decided to see what a 1989 civic can really do.

After gutting the car, dropping in a new engine, upgrading the suspension, a garage that makes me green with envy, and new interior later he has finished phase one. So here is his version 1.0 video
