I have a serious question here… Why is it that when I’m at a bar I only seem to get hit on by older women that have kids, jealous ex-husbands, and a serious love of NASCAR? Seriously. This has happened more than once recently. It seems like the only other time I’ve been hit on in recent memory I’ve been in line at the DMV, and then by the end of the conversation I got dumped. Which is very bizarre since I dont recall going out with the woman in question. Oh wait… there was the woman who cut my hair last, but she stopped flirting when she found out I was ‘too young for her’. Considering she was barely 30 that was kind of a entertaining. and too bad too. I’ve noticed something else as well… when I decide its my turn to buy a round of drinks certain women will take the question “what do you want to drink” to mean “Hey, if you answer we’re going steady”. The women who think this are very offended when they find out I’ve asked everyone in the bar the same question. Very offended. Like ‘my cheek still stings’ offended.
