I’m proud of the Pen community and what it has provided to the internets. I’m proud that this is something I feel that I helped birth, that I continue to home on my servers. When blogs became a buzzword and my boss asked me if our company needed a blog. As I’m sure everyone is dying to read an Insurance blog, my interest in Pen just dried up. Looking upon Pen I asked myself “Is Pen a Blog?”. I thought it was some abortion of E/N but yes I’d consider it technically a blog, how mainstream, how highschool, how not “Pen”. I lost all interest in posting. I botched the PenEngine during a server upgrade and really didn’t make much effort to fix it. I let it just sort of sputter to a sad death. Really Pen had nothing to do with the mainpage or frontpage appearance. Pen is the community which continued to live on in the forum without skipping a beat. I’m sorry PenEngine, my disgust was misplaced. Welcome back to life lil’ buddy you are as OG as can be.
