When I first got my laptop the battery lasted a respectable two hours. However, over the course of the last year it has slowly been dwindling down to the point where it was lasting only about 30 minutes.
Today though it suddenly started lasting only about five minutes.
This leaves me with something of a conundrum, since a good daily bowel movement can last ten minutes. Do I fork out $100 for a battery I cant really afford right now, or do I start to feel guilty about bringing books from the public library into the bathroom?
Goddamn this economy. I remember when I could afford to buy books for the bathroom. I’d use them to rest on my lap so that the laptop didn’t get too warm while I took a good long shit.
Maybe I need to start shitting at work again. At least them I’m getting paid for it.
