So while watching T.V. this evening I happened to see one of those porcelain plate ads… only instead of the normal bullshit like movie memorabilia or holiday pictures, it was an “Obama Victory” plate… It was just so over the top and full of catch phrases that it took seeing the commercial twice before I would believe it was a real commercial and not some Saturday Night Live parody.
But of course it turns out that once again I have underestimated just how low marketing will go to sell something.
What the fuck? I hope that this plate is at least made in the U.S.A.
The commercial, of course, kept repeating: Yes you can own a piece of history.
I went back to watching cartoons.
