Comfortable With Conformity

June 11th My interview went GREAT. I was able to go to the bathroom before I left the house, so I didn't have any gas cramps, thank god. I wore my standby black jacket and pants suit, with a silky grey button down underneath, and my sister's new black work shoes. I was interviewed by two of the teachers, both who looked younger than me. One was a gentle, homely girl, the other was a fast-talking Jamaican princess. They actually HANDED ME A PAPER with the interview questions on it, and told me to look at it. Then, one by one, they fired away the questions and I fired away my rehearsed answers. They asked me for a second interview, and would I like to observe the class? So I said yes and I did. These kids are nothing like the kid I worked with-- they are wild. One of them was bouncing, literally bouncing on a trampoline, while another one was screaming because she couldn't have an orange. I admit I was taken aback, but I can do the job. Anyway, I gotta cut this short. Peace out. |
