FAQ in earnest Ok. We've talked about it and now we're gonna do it for real.
We (Mightymon and I) have begun work on a PenIs FAQ. We would like to know
what type of questions our regular readers expect in a FAQ, and what new readers
would like to know.
Please post any questions or ideas you have below.
Alternatively you can also mail us:
clme3748@yahoo.com
mighty_mon@excite.com
Expect the FAQ soon (as in an indeterminate amount of time in the future )

Re: FAQ in earnest Dude, I don't think people want to know the Truth about PenIs. I think it scares
them. That, or they know EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW.

... Both "buck futter" and "penismightier" came from Sean Connery's character on
Saturday Night Live Celebrity Jeopardy. Buck Futter:@#%$ Butter ... thats my guess
anyways.

Re: FAQ in earnest I'm ashamed...but I have a question myself.
What is: Fnord?
All I can ever find is a whole lot of contradictory secret society bullshit.
Could some one please enlighten me in a simple and non-contradictory way? Perhaps
this will even get included in the FAQ.
-chris
(But it contradicts contradictions. After all... If you can sort through the
contradictions you will eventually find the truth. You are conditioned in your mind in
such a way that you cannot see the word. Here is the word you cannot see. You
can see it here, but not when we hide it there. there is no government we dont
run...but the governments are bound to fail, because we dont want the poeple to
support the governments that we already control..........and on....and on......and
on....)

Re: FAQ in earnest Chris ...
You gotta read the Illuminatus trilogy, by Robert Anton Wilson.
Not gonna tell you.

Re: FAQ in earnest Hmm. Three volumes is a little large to fit into a FAQ methinks.
Is there a condensed version? One with only a single volume of contradictions?

Re: FAQ in earnest Dont be a puss??
Fine, I'll just have to tell my mother to stop dressing me. Then I'll end my temper
tantrums when I dont get my way. After this one: Waaaaaaaaaaaah.
Will you hold my hand while I cross the street?
Anyway, I guess the FAQ entry will be this:
Fnord?
Reference to the Illuminatus trilogy, by Robert Anton Wilson.
Sorry, there are no cliffs notes.

Re: FAQ in earnest Dammit man, read these books! Three times more powerful than Scientology and
packed with creamy freak out goodness.
Get out of the Garanimals, bud! How do you ever expect to immantize the eschelon
and see the fnords with your head buried in the sand of mediocrity???
I am trying my best to drag you across the street, quit fighting! And close your
mouth when you chew, thats just nasty.

Re: FAQ in earnest Yes, the books are going on my reading list.
They're on the list right after 'See Spot Run' and 'The Cat in the Hat'.
I just was interested in them currently as a FAQ question.
Oh and Eod:
Your bitchbox definition will probably end up on it too.
Hmm. Will this book be found in a local library? Perhaps at my neighborhood christian
bookstore?

fnord Heh, your neighborhood christian bookstore wouldn't burn that steaming pile of
heresy with a 47 1/2 foot pole.
Library may have it, hard to say tho. I hear 'See Spot Run' is an action packed thrill
ride, a real page turner. Go ahead and read it first

umm.. I believe the phrase was "imminentizing the Eschaton". Nothing to do with Eschelon
(conspiracy though that happens to be).

Re: ...hih God I'm an idiot. I think it's post-earthquake stress disorder... yeah, that's it. And
yes, I realize that Wheel of Time is a totally different author, but it is the series to
which I compare all others. Kinda like Zelazney's Amber series.

WOT Wow, that's a case of literary apples and oranges there. Yeah, I'm a geek and have
read all nine of the WOT series ... very good books. The Illuminatus trilogy is nothing
like them, Robert Anton Wilson's writing style takes a little while to get used to but
IMHO it's 42 times better that WOT. Definately give it a try, the books aren't for everyone (especially easily offended
folks)
Take a look at the
RAW homepage for a sample.

Re: WOT Well, I'll say this about Illuminatus: It's definitely a head-trip. Better than the WOT?
Kinda hard to compare, as you said, Lon, because they are definitely apples and
oranges. Or rather, Golden Apples and Aes Sedai. If you like conspiracies and don't feel comforatble with a traditional linear storyline,
and you really want to relive the Kennedy Assassination like 7 times from different
viewpoints, then read the Trilogy. Definitely.
But of all the things I've read, it's definitely the most unique. Nothing like WOT,
bitchgoddess. WOT is an epic. The Trilogy is...a fairy tale.

yeah....
This trilogy can't really be compared to any other book I know of, except maybe for
other books that are so unique that they can't be compared to any other books
either. You just have to give it a try.
Its not as tough as Finnegan's Wake, I promise.

Re: penIs secret's
I'll give one og the secret FAQt's away, a while ago someone was bugging weishaupt
about what his name means, so I did some research, and discovered that he was
the FOUNDER of the Illuminati! Oh yes, all things lead back to the books folks, it's
true.
Also, does anyone know where they hold meetings? I want to join, the Masons are
too boring for me...
