this board, as swank as it is, has truly offended me. it claimed i was FLOODING the forum, just because i was a bit prolific in my posts today. "Sorry! We have flood-control activated. You cannot post within 30 seconds of your last post. Please try again after this period of time elapses." My Ass! IP: Logged |

This one's actually lenient - the default UBB setting for flood control is SIXTY seconds. That pissed me off QUICK on my own, so I started immediately setting the variable to 30 seconds on every forum I got the chance to. IP: Logged |

i experienced the problem again today, and i wish to upgrade it to the status of "bug, sev 2". i know it was way longer than 30 seconds between posts, because i manged to read an entire thread before the second post. any ideas?IP: Logged |

Hmm suggestion.. Find something important to complain about? I'm sorry, really though we do need some sort of filter to keep the kiddies from spamming the board to all hell via some basic script. Atleast they'd have to write in some delay stuff into their script before spamming the hell out of the pen board.IP: Logged |

Worked fine - times listed are by my watch. Flood control DID activate at 21:31:30, but did NOT activate at 21:31:40.Eod's right man - I've seen what happens to boards with no flood control whatsoever, and it ain't pretty. IP: Logged |
