To piss you the fuck off!Tell me, what has your B&W creature done to piss you off into an uncontrollable fit of raged madness? Well, mine shit on the Japanese town in Land 4. (I know what you're thinking you sick bastard) So, I got pissed, because he's .81 good, and .81 good creatures should NOT shit on villagers. So, as he standing in the middle of the town (me not thinking) I begin to beat the fuck out of him (which I hadn't done for two whole lands now) and by the time my fit of rage ends, I realize that I have not only disciplined him but knocked over 4 fucking houses in the process. This leads me to get even more pissed. I know that I have done the damage to the town, so I take my rage out in the middle of my dorm hall screaming obsenities and cursing my purply sparkling tiger, Snuggles. Stupid fucking Tiger... I really, really wish I could get mine to shit in the fields... I did get him to quit shitting in town. Um, sorta... now whenever he shits, WHEREVER he is, he just shits in his hands. Multiply. Then just sorta continues about his business...  IP: Logged |

The problem with mine is... that it turned from intensly good to completely evil, with smoke coming out of his ears, in 10 minutes during level5.
Started all over to do it right this time. One warning:
There is a serious bug in level5, I would recommend waiting for the patch before continuing to level5.
But nothing funny happend with my creature... the weirdes thing that happen to mine was, he picked up his poo and throwed it in sea... but that was because I teached him that... without knowing he should poo in the field, which I can't get him to teach, strangely enough. He now poos agains trees... Better than on buildings, he was doing previously.He kicked at my hand once, I now recall. That was pretty weird... But one of the best games I ever played... I didn't even found the time to visit teh regular sites the first days..

My creature isn't doing anything funny whatsoever. It's driving me up the fucking wall and has me frothing at the mouth.
The stupid cow knows all the important spells, is SO good he glows, but she doesn't DO ANYTHING.
She just walks around smiling at the villagers and then takes a nap. It pissed me off so I slapped her a few times. Now she refuses to sleep and dies of exhaustion unless I heal her. Same thing with food. I never punished her for eating. She's hungry ALL the time. When I give her food I get the "your creature is feeling curious" or "your creature wants to mess around with you" message. Unless I heal her she dies of starvation.FaRaN is doing something a HELL of a lot better then I am. He just sits back and his cow takes care of all his villagers' needs.
It wouldn't surprise me if he's surfing the web on his other PC and checks in on his cow every 15 minutes or so. Bastard. This keeps me awake at night. IP: Logged |

You're right on that one Lambeard.
Just attach my Leopard on the gay-leesh (as we call it, the rainbow colory thingy-leeshy) to the village store, and you can leave my town alone. My creature-o-lovin' will keep it running.
BUT! I still have to feed the son of a bitch every time it gets hungry, and attach it to a tree in his house to get him to sleep. Otherwise it will die too... That's just a thing I have to work on still too ...

teaching your animal to poop in the field isnt actually all that good. sometimes animals learn to eat the food right from the fields, and if they had just pooped there, they'll also eat poop which makes them sick. that's not cool.IP: Logged |

Btw, quit using the gay leash if you want your creature to eat - the creature will starve and/or tire itself to death EVERY FREAKING TIME when on the fuzzy gay leash.If you've trained him properly, he should take care of the village just fine on the learning leash (mine does) - and on that one, he'll still feed himself and take a nap when he needs to. Um - as much as the game is digital crack for the first few days, it's got problems.I've played for all of four days now, and I'm on the fourth world... of five. And I STARTED OVER TWICE. And it's buggy as hell, some things are really inconsistent (why didn't anybody ever tell me attacking an enemy god's temple would trash his cities instead of doing damage to the temple?!), and the "feature" of the creature's mind remembering everything you do INCLUDING shit you bypassed by loading an earlier save game... bleah. And we won't even go into the fact that I "shouldn't enter the fifth world yet" because there's a bug so fucking severe that it makes the game utterly unplayable, and I'm supposed to "wait for the patch" in the meantime. the temple itself doesnt take damage until the village has no other buildings. it's in the manual.jimbo is right though (despite his rediculous 'stache). the game does have some serious limitations. it's supposed to be the most open ended game to ever have been released, but it seems that it's fairly limited. there is a large variety of things to be done, but they've all been explored and recounted umpteen times in messageboards like this one. a large variety does not make for true open endedness. i hate to say this, but the game does get boring, and it gets boring sort of quickly. *sigh* there *has* to be a way to create a world where anything at all can be accomplished. there just has to be. when such a game is released (will it even be a game at that point?), we'll know it. everyone will acknowledge that it is truly the epitome of gaming. black and white is a really cool game, but it's not what it might have been. it's not as free as it should be. and the bugs...
