Ok no design yet, but lets start with an icon already, so I can save it, put it in front of the penis-button in the links bar, and be a geek all day.
My mission is now getting my linksbar complete with icons!
Lamfear made a really good one the other day. Common Lam! show it to the people!

I already had it finished. I made it at work one day when I didn't have urgent things to do. (read: I felt like slacking)

I was amazed how small 16x16 pixels is. I was even more amazed at how good the link-bar icons look of sites like Shacknews, Ars, VE and Blue's. I still can't fathom how they manage to put so much detail in a crappy 16x16 icon.
But then again, this is the first icon I've ever made so there are probably a whole bunch of techniques and tricks I don't know about.
