you had 16 clme. i had 15.15) "it was not hands that summoned us here... but desire." don't tell me no one can get this one. it's not even obscure. alright, here's an even easier one (same movie): 15) "trick us again girl, and your suffering will be legendary even in hell." for goodness sake, the new one is in the imdb entry. someone frigging answer it. oh, and another easy one 17) a: no more rhyming. i mean it. b: does anybody want a peanut? 15 sounds like one of those crappy Hellraiser movies. And dammit, fen, you know I like Hudson Hawk too, as did Saladino and Lenser; it was just everyone else that ragged on it. OK, so lemme think of a few...
18. I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion... 19. I got the *right* man. The wrong one was delivered to me as the right man, I accepted him on good faith as the right man. Was I wrong? fen can't answer, he's seen this movie about a zillion times.
20. Why is any object we don't understand always called "a thing"?
Shout em out if you know em... I'll try to come through again tomorrow in case no one gets 20. It's a great line, but if it didn't stick out at you, you might not remember it. And I guarantee you you've seen it.

18 is blade runner.i'll give you 15 weis. it was hellraiser 2. i can't believe no one else loves those. they're craptastic. come on. hellraiser belongs up there with phantasm and nightmare on elm street as lovably shitty 80's horror movies whose sequels didn't suck nearly as bad as they should have. 7)BURP! "don't you laugh damn you, don't you laugh." also from that movie "... and the first thing that flashed into me gulliver was that i'd like to have right there on the floor with the ol' in-out real savage." I'm gonna start smackin' fools if you don't get it now. 14)"heh, heh, heh, dog will hunt!" was sampled by primus but it comes from one of the greatest horror series ever. The main baddy was created from a conglomeration of a few different mass murderer types, one of which was Ed Gein. IP: Logged |

You know, there was only one good thing about Hellraiser, which was that it was the source of the best MST3K comment I ever made during a movie. No idea why it's stuck in my mind since this occurred about 6 years ago, but the last time I saw Hellraiser, I was hanging out with my college roommates, and collectively, we watched a lot of MST3K - and inevitably, fancied ourselves as nearly as clever. So, as we watched Hellraiser, there's a scene (maybe you remember it) in which two guys are carrying a mattress down that wooden staircase, and the woman edges her way around them (on her way up or down, I don't recall). As she did this, in probably the most mentally clear instant of my life, I let loose with, "She really knows her way around a mattress!" At that instant, I knew that that was the cleverest comment I would ever personally deliver, and taking a vow of silence at that point would have been a strong move. Sadly, I've continued delivering sub-par quips ever since. Oh yeah, and #21 (you ask for a miracle...) is Die Hard. And Deeznutz is right, 18 was Blade Runner. I'll restate the other two still open ones:
19. I got the *right* man. The wrong one was delivered to me as the right man, I accepted him on good faith as the right man. Was I wrong? fen can't answer, he's seen this movie about a zillion times.
20. Why is any object we don't understand always called "a thing"?
