I read his site regularly, and I think I know what happened, well, kinda.

You see, Clay (the creator) lost his webspace (again) and needed a place to crash his data. Ironically, Stileproject offered and he was hosted there for quite a while.

During one of the many fiascos Stile had with something (cant remember which one) he had to take the webserver down for awhile. During this interim, ThinHLine was down as well.

When stile came back up, ThinHLine.com merely routed back to stileproject.com. Eventually even that evolved into a dead link. Beyond that, ThinHLine hasn't returned, and no word from Clay.

Right again. I won't say much, but I will say this: the THL made an unexpected and unwelcome appearance in my professional life. That's why I took it down so suddenly, and that's why there aren't archives or even a notice. It had to disappear without a trace. This is why I'll also fight tooth and nail anyone who tries to put up an archive site.

Thank you ... I hope to continue my line of thought in Sunday Morning Coffee with Tang. It was always fun doing THL, even if I never really had the time for it, and I am happy that I was able to give a few people a good laugh. Good laughs are too hard to come by.
