dammit. i get like the 2nd final exam time (today, 10am) in the damn week, come down sick the day before (and still now), and now i get to sit around watching my impending doom grow ever closer as i wait for my only other exam (7:30am next friday)."oh", but you say, "at least you'll have plenty of time to study." to which i reply with a grunt and beat my skull in with the book. haven't learned anything in 3 months; not gonna learn it in 6 days. someone make the hurting stop. Oh come on.. I can't tell you how many classes I've crammed into 6 days.. Just go and live in the library and sleep in your car or library. It sucks but works.. well atleast for me..IP: Logged |

I recommend passing the time by spending every hour at the local bars. Drinking helps you remember things. At least for me....Oh wait, I don't have finals for another 2 weeks! Time to drink up and study later.IP: Logged |

Finals rock nuts!!!! I loved being in school, college and high school... studying my ass off, working three jobs... It ruled! I actually never studied until my very last semester, when I HAD to or I'd never get out. I would find shit to do in lieu of studying, like cleaning my toilet and sweeping the balcony, anything to further procrastinate the nastiness that is studying. But the good news is: No matter how much hell these few days are, they are almost over!!!!! Just remember that, and then sleep for a week. ------------------ One for sorrow two for joy Three for girls four for boys Five for silver six for gold Seven for a secret never to be told IP: Logged |

this is a numeric computing class. it's not a question of learning a semester's worth of material in a week. it's a question of learning the last 5 years worth of math that i slid through before i can even start on decyphering it.it's not like i'm not going to study. and to tell the truth i may even get a passing grade in the class (depending on the mercy of the prof). but this is going to hurt. a lot. and i'm still pissed about my microprocessors final, which is lowering my mood. i knew most of that stuff but my cold/flu/plague had my brain seized up and i was working much slower than i should have been. once again, i'm likely to pass but that isn't stopping the dull throbbing in my rectum and frontal lobe. just yet another meaningless rant posted to the world wide web. nothing to see. keep moving. Ahh, this brings me back to the days of college. One semester I had the midterm and final exam schedule from hell. As a science major, a lot of classes have labs, and these labs often have separate exams. First batch of midterms (we had them at appx 5-6 weeks, then about 10 weeks into the semester), I had 10 exams in 7 consecutive classdays. Basically Mon-Fri one week and Mon and Tues of the next week. I would take one, run home and study for the one or two I had the next day, sleep about two hours, go to class, take an exam, repeat, repeat, repeat.I had no life, I had no sanity, I thought I was going to die. I was having hallucinations by the end. Then, I got to do it all again about a month later for the second set of midterms. And then again for finals. However, I came damn close to a 4.0 and I was taking hard shit like Comparative Anatomy. So maybe I do best under pressure. I occasionally miss school. Undergrad mind you, I NEVER miss grad school. -Bex IP: Logged | |
