1) I don't think eod shoulda mentioned the drunkenoverclockers thing, since we've done collectively about zero on it so far. But some day, baby!

2) Complaining that we post too much stuff about overclocking seems a little off-base. I mean, if a hard-shell Christian complains that we don't gay-bash enough, should we change? I like having a site that people read, as opposed to having a site that no one reads. Beyond that, I think it would be pretty lame if we thought, "but wait, will people find this sufficiently interesting?" before we post.
For the sake of the people who read the site, I try to use grammar and formatting, and to not post things people are likely to have already seen, but beyond that, I just post whatever seems interesting to me - and assume that similar people might like it.

That being said, the major reason why we don't get assloads of visitors is that we don't pick a theme (hardware, humor, rants, porn, etc) and stick with it. The result is that our readers seem to be people who like something ephemeral about our site in particular, as opposed to liking [hardware/porn/etc], which is fine with us. Look at how many problems Stile has had... if we got a zillion readers, and our hosting company was trying to shaft us, and dealing with the site was becoming a full-time job, I'm sure we'd just quit doing it.

It happened when we where mentioned on the dotcomedy show in england. Around that time we where pulling a steady 6000 unique hits a day. Having a stack of fines approaching the near 1k mark and we made nothing on the site, had no ads, and payed hosting straight out of the pocket. Then addr shut us down and locked our account until we payed the fines (for going above bandwidth acceptable usage in one day). Thus marked our switch over to bla-bla which has basically killed us.

You'd be surprised at how little traffic a lot of these sites get. There are only a few sites in the e/nish type rantish type personal homepage community that really get a ton of more traffic than we do and they do it by posting porn. We are well above the average.

Just why you paid to be taught Snaggish.

I mean... one would think that being immersed in a Snaggish culture would be enough to teach you on your own!

Think about it... Locked Visiting in a broom closet wonderful, airy country plantation. The Leather wearing natives all greeting you with whips and chains in their native tongue. At night you would walk along a starlit path and be raped by meet a wonderful lass's brother.
