the japanese, as fenomas can attest to, are all socially repressed and maniacal in their devotion to perversion. the cramped surroundings and strict culture which expects employees to be at work promptly 2 hours before the scheduled start time to show loyalty and devotion to the company forces japanese citizens to live a very regid and polite life. after all, would you not go on a mad killing spree if you were shoved into a subway like so much tuna every morning if the person standing next to you didnt have the most fastidious of personal hygeine habits? because of this forced social norm of rigour and politeness, the japanese must vent any "irregular" emotions as a rolling boiling kettle would vent steam. hence, you get popular mainstream comics that depics housewives being dominated sexually by talking dogs and women that eat feces.

if the japanese government didnt allow these sorts of things to happen, the society would explode and the country would crumble. productivity would plummet. crime would skyrocket. japan depends on its skilled workers very much, because the entire economy depends on exporting high quality manufactured goods, not easily exportable natural resources like lumber or coal.
