it stems from the radio edit versions of hip hop tracks where they either have the DJ cut in a sample over the curse word SHIT... becomes tihs with the scratch sample pulled in reverse, but it sounds like iiiish or the person recording the vocals does a seperate track in which case they sometimes say ISH insteaddah shit. psyci... you are now "down" with this ish.PeterWiggin PS: where the hell is miami weis? Nice explanation of ish, Wiggin, but I would have phrased it a little differently: ish is used when rappers go on the radio to "freestyle," but cheat and use a written verse instead, and have to replace the cusswords. It doesn't really work, though, because its usually pretty obvious when a "freestyle" is actually written. For instance, any time Eminem says he's freestyling, he's not. And when a decent rapper is doing a rap that sounds like a confused crackhead that can't rhyme or form coherent sentences, they're probably really making it up as they go along. Like, say Kool Keith. Anyways, eod was probably talking about Sage Francis. Wig, can you get any more of his stuff? It's pretty sweet. We have to go on a downloading binge, tho.

Not supported in some browsers, but new versions of IE do it. I thought NS did as well. It turns sets the cursor to an up-arrow on links. ne-cursor would make it an up-right cursor, but even my browser doesn't support that.fen IP: Logged |
