OMG, I just found my Quake2 folder neatly rarred in a backupfolder somewhere. I forgot all about it. What should I do with it? Throw it away, or just keep it a little longer for good old times sake. It takes up 230 Mb, on a 30Gig HD. So space is not an issue.

Ok, This assumes that you haven't *cough* lost *cough* the original copy of the program.If you still have the original game CD (even if its in the bottom of a box in a basement somewhere) then kill it. If you want to play it, keep it. If you hated the game kill it. If you want to upload it to a FTP so that others that *cough* lost *cough their original copies can have a backup, then keep it. Otherwise... Hell... I still have Duke3d and all of the Dooms installed on my machine. I keep a special profile in Windows that has only games on the desktop. When kids are over for any reason I lock out the other desktops and let them blow things up. -Chris IP: Logged |

I seemly have lost *cough* the original, but I have a copy! Lucky my!It's not the Quake 2 game, but all the mods, configs and such I got over the years that I will loose.
But I would happely show me my 'configs' via FTP if you have interest. Then I'll delete it I think... IP: Logged |
