I've lived in the Pacific Northwest for the majority of my (somewhat) short live, but thanks to this, I think I'm going to have to move.My question for you guys is: Where's a good place to live? I really haven't been anywhere outside of the greater seattle area for long enough to count, so I don't really have any idea as to what is good/awful. ------------------ "Blue costumes are real. Austin, TX is a nice place to live, if you really want a sudden and drastic change. Also, Pensacola, FL is gorgeous, but all careers there include setting up and taking down beach umbrellas. I plan to retire there on the beach. Montreal, Canada is also very nice, and clean with great food and "entertainment."------------------ One for sorrow two for joy Three for girls four for boys Five for silver six for gold Seven for a secret never to be told IP: Logged |

Do not, under any circumstances, come to South Florida (Ft Lauderdale, Miami, Key West) It is hotter than Hades and the crime is... well, just bad. However, if you are in the Mental Health field, PLEASE come here. SoFla is full of mentally ill people. That's why I moved here.... to be "normal" ;-)------------------ Is she not right? Amsterdam, The Netherlands is nice. Finding housing is a bit difficult. If worse comes to worse you can always live in the our version of the ghetto: De Bijlmer. I lived there for two years. It's not so bad. *cough*IP: Logged |

I'm moving from Olympia to SoCal next month. Huntington Beach is nice. Pretty much anywhere in Orange County, except for Garden Grove. Don't live there. OC has Carl's Jr, and Krispey Kreme, Del Taco and In n' Out Burger, which we are sadly without up here in Wa. you can check OCRegister for job opportunities, of which there are many, and For Rent for living space, a bit expensive, but it's a pretty high income area. Again I have gone too long without sleep... how do you get back on a normal sleep schedule after being up from 11:30 yesterday morning?IP: Logged |
