No, no. I believe you mean "WHAT YOU SAY!!"But actually (that is, if you are talking about urban sprawl and whatnot...my mind is not yet developed enough to have a lot to intelligently say or comprehend on this forum), I think the best solution would be to start moving underground. IP: Logged |

Re: Carbycle"How much does this monstrosity cost?" Will it take off? Not in America. Even if the thing was a marked savings over in-city parking fees, you have to consider that a good percentage of Americans are either too stupid to unfold it or too fat to ride it. The rest of them are already out there on their Razor scooters. I wouldn't mind having one, but I take the bus or walk nearly everywhere anyways. Re: This quote: "Car manufacturers develop smaller and environmental friendly cars, carsharing projects are born, and carpooling becomes more popular." Bwahahahahaha! Not in the age of the SUV, baby. My town is spending the summer WIDENING the roads. Fat roads for fat cars for fat people. As for pooling/sharing, I refer to my 11th grade US History teacher - "Sharing is Communism." IP: Logged |

It's all about getting people out of their cars. For me, it's a simple choice: -Drive to work in my car, where I can sit comfortably and alone, listening to the radio or a cd. Driving to work takes me about 15-30 minutes in rush hour. -Take a tram (jammed with people) and then the subway (also jammed with people). Using public transport to get to work would take me about 50-60 minutes. Hmmm. I pick my car. Surprised? IP: Logged |

I commute a little over 20 miles to get back and forth to and from work now. Odds of getting me to bicycle it every day: pretty fucking slim.Especially since then I couldn't use the interstate, which would make it closer to THIRTY plus miles each way. IP: Logged |

My commute is 35 miles each way. Obviously a bike won't work. I do ride a bike several times a week when the weather permits for relaxation and exercise (don't want to become one of the FAT ones, right chesspieceface?)As for that little bike, it looks gay. -Marcel
