Geoshitties has recently stopped allowing that, and many others have been doing it for some time. If you should be lucky enough to come across some webspace, then you can do something like this: (I'm explaining html because I always mess up the UBB tags). <img src="http://www.livejournal.com/userpic/324084" border=0 alt="No, I wasn't on Roseanne"> Which should produce something along these lines: The "img" tag tells the browser it will be dealing with a picture. the "src" tag stands for source (imagine that!) The "border" tag tells how many pixels a border should be, and the "alt" tag allows you to put a little pop-up comment on the picture.
