I have been having this recurring dream topic which is rather strange. I'd like to share it and see what ya'll think:In my dream(s), I am about to leave (I don't know where, though) and I will be gone for a long time. I want to get my laundry done before I go, but it keeps piling up!! I can't keep up with it!! I am washing sheets, blankets, full loads of socks, full loads of panties, coats, several loads of pants and shirts, etc. IT WON'T STOP PILING UP! What d'ya think it means? ------------------ "Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And when you look long into an abyss, the abyss also looks into you." -- Friedrich Nietzche IP: Logged |

It probably means you're insecure about your labia. or You're in a situation you don't like (college?) and the end is nowhere in sight. IP: Logged |

It could mean that there are some things in your life that you'd like to do/get done but you cannot because other things are piling up. (no pun intended) Maybe some goal in life, some aspiration of sorts. Maybe everytime you try to accomplish this "goal" things cave in around you and you are left taking care of the "problems" rather than accomplishing your "goal?" Maybe???------------------ Originality is a myth. IP: Logged |

It could be your yearning for success and the feeling of being trapped in your job? Am I even coming close to something that makes sence?------------------ Originality is a myth. IP: Logged |

I think it means that you're worried about your ability to please men and be properly subservient at all times.-3 IP: Logged |

Haha, I thought that would get a laugh. But seriously, strange dreams sometimes are caused by foods that you eat. I suggest switching to a diet that consists entirely of tubesteak smothered in underwear. -3

Try once a week or so... yeah, they reoccur quite often. (I have many reoccuring dreams... the other ones I have figured out.) ------------------ "Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. "Every wall we try to break, they stack another brick."You want to move along [ we'll say from your job ] and onto something else, but for whatever reason, something is keeping you there. No matter how hard you try to get ready to leave, you are stuck. Almost like you're trapped, but not quite. Anything like that happening in your life? IP: Logged |

Huuh... good guess D.O.E. The only reason I am still at my job is because I get free tuition for school. (Still have to pay for books.)IP: Logged |

Heh...Hrmmm... how much more school do you have? I would say that the reason you had the dream was because you know of or at least have seen something [ still on the job example ] about a better position somewhere else. So, you are stuck with the job you hate because of the free tuition... even though there is something better with your name on it. Of course, since you never actually saw where you were going to be going in the dream, it could also be worse than where you are now. The wall could be there as an obstacle, or... as a... wall... O.o; 50/50 Amazon Do you know of anything like that? A better job opening somewhere or something? It might also be symbolic of a relationship... are you in one right now? If you are, then you can view the relationship as where you are in the dream, and the place you are going to go as someone else. Or, if you are currently single [ hey... I'm single too! Mwa ha ha! Be rough with me! :P ] maybe you have your eyes set on someone, but for whatever reason, it's a bad idea. [ well that shoots down my dream of being roughed up by you... curses! ] I dunno, just look at your life and all posibilities and apply them to the dream and vice versa. You'll find the answer. And BTW, you have straight-forward dreams... [ at least that one was, for the most part ] [This message has been edited by Demon-of-Elru (edited 08-30-2001).] IP: Logged |

Well, with a name like Demon-Of-elru, I had no idea you'd be so smart and perceptive. Yes, i hate my job, I am single, but I do not have my sights set on anyone. Right now I figure I need to get at least halfway through school (this makes the start of year 2) and I believe that since I am part time, it should take about 4-5 years to graduate. I also do not have any kind of vehicle and let me tell you, waiting for the bus in summer in South Florida is a bitch. Still, lately I feel lonely at night when I am in my king size bed all alone. It's not just sex I miss, beccause I have no problem taking care of my own business, but I miss... cuddling. I also have a hole in my roof that is currently covered with plastic, wood, boards, tarp, and bricks. For awhile there, it was leaking like crazy, thus causing the ceiling to collapse, though nothing else was ruined. My roommate and I were spending every Sunday (his only day off) up on the roof trying to rig the thing so it didn't leak. (my roommate is my mother's boyfriend) BTW, it's rainy season here. So, yeah, I am stressed over not being able to get a loan to fix the roof. Work, loneliness at night, the roof. Maybe that's what the laundry thing is all about.------------------ "Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. Heh... don't judge a book by it's cover. I'm not -that- smart though... [ I'll be posting about the reason why because I need to vent ]Also, you'll have to excuse this if it makes no sense or just plain sounds stupid, I'm not at my best performance right now, but I'll still try to respond with something halfway decent. Perhaps that is what the laundry thing is all about. Stress is where you are, the combination of work, loneliness at night, and the roof are the laundry, and happiness is where you want to be. That is what I see, anyways. Good things come to those who wait. Everything will turn out ok Amazon, trust me. Loneliness at night... ::le sigh:: Can't help you there... The roof, I'd help, but I'm too far away... and I'd drive you places, but I'm too far away. It'll all be good one day Amazon, it will be. ------------------ We live life afraid of death, but only live to die. IP: Logged |
