Police came into the clinic today because of "suspicious actions" upstairs in Administration.

What happened?

Some idiot tried to access a computer... that is password protected... and made for a blind person.

So someone sits down at a locked out computer and cant get on. Ok. I understand that much.

But the thing that gets me is that they called the police for it... shit. If someone tries to "hack" a locked out computer, they should either be escorted out or taken back to their own special room at the clinic.

Why is he lucky? The police should have laughed in your faces for not just asking him to leave!

I find it hard to believe that any sort of mental institution doesn't have security on site during any given time.

(a) They may be talking about a group to which they belong, which generally negates it
(b) They may have been joking, or sarcastic, or pointing fun at someone else, or making an in-joke that you aren't in on

I also did it to the "5 angry black men" post... so despite periodic moments of hypocricy, I have at least been consistant.

I dont understand a single fucking word of that post, except that for some reason they called the cops for a kid on a computer, and she doesn't like her security company. Since she's stated she's pagan, I know she doesn't belong to that group.

If its an inside joke, please let me know.

Perhaps I'm being too sensitive here, but I really really thought we had gotten beyond calling out racial slurs at every group we have an issue with.

Especially after the long flame-war we had following the "raghead" statements earlier. If the fact that I found the above statment extremely in poor taste (especially considering the rest of the message) really bothers you, then flame away.

So I don't know, I've never been so bored that I made up a story about a goofy security incident at work, but I'm not everybody.

And well hell if the owners are cheap and Jewish thats what they are, who knows they could have been Sweaty Scandinavians or Fat Lazy Americans but IF Amazon had incorrectly identified them she would be guilty of fudging the truth. And there we would all be, blindly rushing through life with incorrectly labled owners in the wrong boxes.
