FaRaN Member with a member bigger than the member with a member	posted 11-19-2001 01:45 I'm having some totally weird dreams lately. Last night was the second time I was shot to death. First time (a week ago) I can't remember real well, but I was shot with a rifle 3 times in the chest, exactly in the middle. The moment I start dying I wake up. Last night, I was in a subway, minding my own business and suddenly the lights went off. I'm being attacked by 3 guys who tried to rob me. As I lie on the ground fighting the guys off, I suddenly had a small knive in my hand and tried to stab one of them. One of them shoved me away, start pulling a gun and shoots me 3 times in my left chest, heart region. As I slowly die, I wake up... The strange thing is, I've NEVER been in a fight. And I've certainly never been shot before. But I feel the bullets ripping through me, even when I'm not supposed to know what it feels like. I'll keep you updated, if I have more. Some people believe that every dream has a hidden meaning, and there are full websites and books devoted to the subject. I think I even had a dream-dictionary once. You would try to remember things about your dream and look up typical meanings a therapist would supposedly know/look for. But man... I dont normally experience any senses other than sight(color) and sound when I dream. Of course... some dreams I wouldn't mind experiencing the other senses as well Of course its also been a long time since I could remember what I dreamed by the time I woke up. I'm curious... who else has the sense of touch when they dream? and Faran: Yes, if you can think of anything keep us posted. It sounds very interesting. IP: Logged

Yes I can still feel where and how the bullets hit. And how much pain it does.. well not very much.. I have had more pain. But it DOES hurt I do remember the force of them pushing me backwards when hitting me. The first dream I hardly have any recollection, except the bullets hitting exactly in the middle of my chest, and maybe it was an AK47.. not sure.. as it would surely do much more damage than 'just' piercing trough me. Second dream was in a NY(?) US subway. I've never been in the US, so I must have gotten that from movies.. The thugs were black dudes of around 20's.. wearing baggy clothes and 2 of them woolen hats. Don't know the english word (muts in dutch). They pulled a handgun, could be anything... I don't have much knowledge of weapons, only from CS There was not spoken in the second dream. First dream I think it was just Dutch, but im not sure. Ill keep you posted on what Freud has to say about it IP: Logged

Or because we are all acting stupid over Anthrax and security issues? And, one more thing... The book How to Interpret Dreams is a bunch of caca. It has bad/really bad interpretations for the stupidest shit, and those items are not always so. I suggest Dreaming for Dummies (Or some similar title, but it is a Dummies book.) IP: Logged

And the whole time in the dream the two sides would slip and slide all over each other and could never quite fit back together, and yes, I could feel it. I'm a sneaky fuck	posted 11-19-2001 16:28 in my beliefe (wiccan) dreams are a big part of life,from what you said ill try to help, but im telling you its usually very vauge the fact that it takes place abroad is a sign for a want to escape your routines of your life, the robbing/mugging, is a sign of personal insecurity, of either yourself or your sourounding or things goin on. it basically means you don't think your life is 100% safe in some way the getting shot part, is a normal sign of fear for yourself, normally the fear is nit realisticallly based if you dream of a deadly weapon or object (guns/knife) so it's not an omen dream,it is more than likely your subconsious taking thing to an extreme because something was said/done to you which bothered you but you are not admitting it to yourself IP: Logged
Bex Delicate Flower	posted 11-21-2001 20:37 I have awful dreaams where I'm being chased or attacked and I can barely move, even though everyone around me is moving normally. I also try to scream for help and nothing comes out. I know it's something related to my inability to run around and yell in my sleep, but it makes the whole thing more disconcerting. I was driving in my car, which was a71 Buick Electra. The car's power was going, so the car would go slower and slower no matter how hard I slammed my foot on the gas pedal. The headlightsare getting dimmer as the car goes slower. The guy chasing me is also pacing me. "You can run, but you can't hide", he says over and over. I finally the abandon the car and runtowards the local mall, yet when I get to the mall it is so foggy I can't see. I am feeling along the walls for a door, and when I finally find a door, I walk into my high school. I am running down the hlls, still hearing "You can run, but you can't hide." I hear a police radio inside the bathroom located under the stairs. (Mind you, in my old high school, there ISN'T a bthroom under the stairs.) When I get into the bathroom, the police radio is in a battery charger, no cop, no one around. I slam the door and lock it. "You can run, but you can't hide!" I pick up a chair and break out the glass from te window and make it sound like I am climbing out the window. The man sounds like he leaves, so I wait a few minutes to listen and hear nothing, so I creep to the door and listen... Still nothing. When I open the door, the man grabs me by the throat and says "Hello, sweetheart!" Now, my husband wakes me by shaking my shoulder and saying "Sweetheart, sweetheart, you're having a nigtmare!" Talk about freaking out! Tom said I was running in bed and crying. It's summer time. I get up out of bed, put on sweatpants and sweatshirt and socks. I get back into bed and put a sleeping bag over my entire body, including my head. Tom say "What the hell are you doing?" "I am reverting back to my childhood. Not that there is much one can do for someone who's teeth are falling out, but I wouldn't mind just a little emotional support, you know? A bunch of us redid the inside of an airplane to wait out the attack. I was elected to do the food shopping. I got the important stuff... Moutain Dew, pepsi, coffee, some sort of crackers... oh, yeah... might as well buy some other stuff. we redid the inside of the plane to house as many as15 people, but there were only 8 of us, yet I kept inviting more people in. We had the beds in the wings. (I didn't realize the wings were big enough.) The common area in the main part of the plane were we ripped out the seats. The cockpit? Command center, of course. Once again I have the key to the morgue, so I went inside, took a body, and hid it in an unknown crawl space under some trash dumpster. When the local funeral home comes to pick up the body, I say "Your coworker was just here. Didn' you know?" So he leaves. I have no idea how I get away with this. Years later, I am no longer working at the hospital, yet I am the only one that knows where the body is. I am terrified that someone will find it and have me put in prison.
