It took 6 days, including 21 hours of driving and about 1400 miles on the car. I had a flat tire that took a very cute AAA guy beating on it with a rusty pipe to remove. But I got to meet Biggles and Mr. Boo and see an art museum and an awesome zoo. And I spent time with another friend and frolicked and relaxed. What a vacation!

I'd be more coherent except I spent 9.5 hours driving all by myself in pre-Thanksgiving traffic through Indiana and Illinois today. Those are arguably the most boring states in the union and I was happy to hit major cities, just to have some interesting traffic snarls to deal with.

But overall I must say, both Biggles and Mr. Boo are even cuter in person.

I dont know... I've driven through Georgia, and while that at first seems kinda pretty.. the state is so fucking huge and its the same view the entire freakin trip.

Hrm... but aren't there a few states that are so flat and boring that they put curves in the road just to keep the drivers awake?
