Welcome to Priceline!! Made the same mistake- ONCE. 4-day Thanksgiving vacation. Best friend in L.A. Sweet- I'll fly out Wednesday night after work, and return Sunday evening. Rebid a dozen or so times before it slapps me with the latest possible departure time (3pm Thursday) and earliest possible return time (6am Saturday) and bills my card. The next day the same ticket is available for $10 less on Yahoo, and I could have picked my times. Fucking choke on your stock melt-down, you sick fucks.------------------

you can call your CC company and complain/contest the charges. they may just laugh at you and tell you to fuck off, but if you contest the charges, they may actually take them off.the hotel i work at has a direct billing contract with priceline (joe public buys hotel room on priceline for 60$, priceline faxes us asking if we'd like to sell them one for between 30$-40$ and if we do sell them one, we charge priceline.) they're annoying as fuck cos EVERY SINGLE FUCKING NIGHT they'll send you a list of 'lost revenue for the hotel' -- ie, they offer to buy 10 rooms for 25$ and since that would screw the hotel, we just tell them to fuck off. They're constantly fucking up the reservations and since people come in deal w/ hotel staff (i.e., ME) not priceline, i'm the one that gets to hear the whining and bitching. For the majority of most things you can buy/reserve beforehand (hotel rooms, flights, cars, etc.) it's almost always better to call the place yourself and haggle the price down. ------------------
