Yellow Jackets. Hands down an awesome energy supplement. If you get tired and take it too late for it to kick in, an hour of sleep will feel like a full night, and then you can keep going. It makes you zoom. I feed it to the developers at my office to help them think like normal people.

umm i never seem to have that problem, and my body clock is very fucked up (cant fall asleep till mindnight at least, and wake up at like 8, once im up, IM UP, thats it, icant fall back asleep to sleep in, )

so i get up, and have lots of energy, and i dont even eat that healthily (lots of fast food) but fast metabloism, so hmm i dunno

to get a good nights sleep try 5-HTP (serotoin supplimentary) also good after rolling but thats a thing of the past =]

alt. energy -- only thing that's ever worked for me is guarana (pronunskiated "goo-ah-rah-nah") which you can find in Bawls, among other "energy" drinks. It will keep you WIRED. You might also try variations on espresso (or as we say in miami, "Cuban Coffee" -- essentially, espresso with 3 times the sugar and no cream at all,) which is normally served in tiny little cups, like shot glasses, but if you have a cup (not a MUG, a CUP) of it, you will will just start moving (MANIACALLY) for a few hours.

I prefer pills since I'm on the go so much and a lot of times need to pop one to stay alert during a 4 hour lecture.

What's bad is when you're SERIOUSLY low on sleep, like been getting an hour a day for a week, and you do a really massive overdose on caffeine to stay awake through something really boring like a lecture on nuclear systems...

... the caffeine WILL NOT let you fall asleep, that much is true. But it WON'T keep you from fucking DREAMING. Right there in the middle of class, standing up, with your eyes wide fucking open.

And after fifteen minutes of nonsensical conversation you've been having with people that don't exist, you suddenly realize you were fucking hallucinating your ass off, and have to look furtively around to make sure you weren't really saying all that shit out loud or anything.

That sucks.

Nicotine.
What triggers sleep is the slowing down of your metabolism (and a bunch of other things). BUT - if you force your metabolism to stay chipper then you can't fall asleep... trust me. Nicotine also allows you to burn fat at an incredible rate... even if you are coughing up a lung. However, the bad thing about nicotine being a great alternative is that it is often harmful to use...BUT - brazillian organic tobacco and cigarettes (kind of hard to get your hands on) are not nasty and tar and urea and blech filled like marlboro's and other american cig's. Also, ask your local biology teacher we they get those nifty 'nicotine in a bottle' things for splashing on daphnia.

try that nicorettes chewing gum -- it's horrible for you heart & cardio/neuro system, though.

Jimbo, sleep hallicinating is the SHIT. face it it's becomnig a fact that the body/mind "has" to dream, and even if your not sleeping it's going to dream.


You get some pretty tricked out things happening when you stay up a a 3day LAN and then stay up again the next night and go to school, trust me. And driving, like thats safe...=] I would always be driving and see weird things in the corner of my eyes, and at night like see things in the road, that upon closer inspection, it was just a sign or a log, but def. tricked out
