i orig orderde a abit kt7e (blue pcb same mobo i have) and a 1ghz duron

well, i fuckde up the core, called newegg, said it came fucked up, - RMA'd it

well i called, they said they GAVE MY SIS CREDIT ON HER CREDIT CARD,,, they do that on a RMA,, so iwould have to re-order it

well a week later my sis gets 2 CPU's in the mail (seperate times) oh well, im gnona wait to see if her card got chardged twice, otherwise, free cpu for me=D

anyways back to my story,, so that shti was fucking up, shes really into digi cams and shit, so i was gonna install XP (shes a n00b so...)

that didnt go so well, and shes like "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT NIOSE!?" hahah hi welcome to the world of 7000rpm fans

long story SHORT
shit wa sfucking up, so i put my old skool abit KT7E and intel celeron2 633 @ 980 (rock solid like it has been since day1) adnd a old school golden orb on there

well let me tell you what

got win2k on this bitch (xp cd copy was fucking up) and i tell you what

there is 1 front intake case fan, and the PSU fan hardly moves.

well being overclocked that high, on a shitty HSF (old skool golden orb) this thing makes NO FUCKING NIOSE

it sfucking great

im in my room, where normally my 12fan MONSTER usually sits, making as much niose as a fucking blender...

so anyways

im REALLY debating about makeing a normal box with a intel celeron2 (or p3 for that matter) cause they dont generate mcuh heat at all,, especiialyl the <1ghz

and you know what?

i bet this celeron cuold run absolutely silent, just a HSF on there, (golden orb fan is sooo quiet) ,, take out that intake fan

and this bitch would be HELLA SILENT

ok i may suond like mi rambling on

but im pretty fucking amazed

this case does NOT have 3 bloeholes, with 40CMF Panflo's pumping air out like a mutha fucka

its quiet

im almost in "awe" here ,, its like ive never heard a quiet case in my life....

when i get back to the dorms im DEF gonna do some testing

im gonna see just how far my temps go up with all my fans off (cept HSF .. etc and maybe 1 case fan)

and i seriuosly dont think they will go to high

ill prolly make a new box, just to be silent, for everyday shit

and keep my monster fucking in another room

the hSF doesnt even get WARM ,, i cant feel anythign

intel celeron 2 overclocks like a bitch (old skool baby) and produces ,, umm, NO heat...

so basically i wouldnt doubt that you could run just a passive heatsink on it

really wouldnt surprise me....
