Is there anything cool to do in Buffalo, NY? I'll be out there on a business trip on Feb. 3rd - 5th. Any good bars to watch the Super Bowl at?

Lets just pray it doesn't snow while I'm out there.

I live here in Buffalo. Fun stuff to do?? I suggest drinking heavily and leaving as soon as you can.
Well, there is the Anchor Bar, birthplace of the Buffalo wing. Decent prices, not too shabby. The Mohawk place, a rock n' roll type bar that is always hopping on Sundays. Monday Nights are best spent at a place called Broadway Joes, a good friend of mine Books indie rockers every week. Down Main st. from Broadway joes is a cool sake bar called Blu that totally rocks, but is does not really attract much of a football crowd. Good music, Sierra Nevada on tap, and super cheap sake.
If you are feeling daring, a small Bar called Anacones on Bailey ave. will suit your needs, and you will get the full Buffalo experience. It's not in the nicest area, but i Dig it. Try the roast beef. Best place to get food in the city is a toss up between a place called Roselands or the Left Bank, They are both on Rhode Island ave. My personal favorite is a joint called Mother's; best food in the city, but has a sort of pizzeria feel to it. Ff you are a vegetarian a place called Amy's place will suit your needs nicely, followed by the Blue moon cafe. No real entertainment to speak of, the Albright-Knox gallery is pretty sweet, lots of futurist stuff. If your renting a car Niagara Falls is about twenty minutes from the city, Nice time of year to check it out. If you like IM at krizzorocks, and i can give you more detail...

On the snow tip, the city got up to fifty today, so no worries.
