Just figured I'd bring up a random topic. I know a few people in here played TFC. I can't stand the HL engine or anything in it. I suggest checking out these movies to see Q3F in action. Beta 2 of Q3F is completely overhauled and when that comes up, if anyone wants to give it a try and get some gaming action going on...

Played alot of Q3F. But it just wasn't complete.. PLaying TFC was alot more fun. Maybe beta2 rocks.

I am still a counter-strike guy
if they made counter strike without changing a thing and ported it to q3 i would undoubtedly play it. but i havent seen a mod for q3 that compairs to counter-strike.

xclusive: One of my old friends from high school is heavily into RA3. He ran a dual T3 server or two from his place to host games. I believe his current RA3 nick is WhackDaddy. You should play him.Faran: Playing it since it's release, kinda tired of Q3F so I took a break and was doing Urban Terror for a while. Now I've been playing RTCW and Yuri's Revenge. I played the MoH demo, but that was boring. I wonder if the full game sucks that much. (I found the only fun way to play was to use the shotgun and be forced to kill people at point blank range.) I know a lot of people are hyped about beta2 and so I think I'm going to go back to playing on railbait once Beta2 is released. I thought I'd get people interested so once it is released soon, there'd be some PenIs Action going on.

havnt played it much lately tho, just mostly at LANs but its def fun as hell.

REACTION QUAKE 3 BEEATCH

Anyone remember Action Quake 2?
Before CS came about and stole all of their programmers, AQ2 was the shit - and now some loyal people are doing an accurate port of it to the Q3 engine. The only drawback is that there are only about 25 people playing it at any one time, compared to the 10000+ people playing CS (And cheating like hell).
I gotta try RocketArena3 sometime...

i have played and love urban terror, i just dont have unreal tourament. it kicked major ass.never tried tac ops but ill look into it. yeah the half life engine is dated BUT one reason i am loyal to it is because there are still soo many hardcore fans of cs. yeah the cheating is outlandish now though. thats why i posted this.... i lookin for new incarnations.

man i think i still have quake team fortress on cd somewhere hehe. sooo classic

Yup , playing Urban Terror alot too. It's a very very good game. And fun when there's no cheating and 11 years olds like in CS. I was hooked on that for years until it got famous.
