anyone else having trouble logging onto aim today?

haven't been able to get on all day, and it's not just my comp, my brother can't get on as well.

Well I had a weird problem last night... I couldn't log on to AIM/ICQ, so I start pinging login.oscar.aol.com and login.icq.com and neither hostname is known. Weird. I try another ISP's DNS server and there both hosts are knowm, so I now know the ip-addresses but neither can be pinged. I could access other addresses in the US just fine... no idea what was going on. A few hours later everything worked again.

My life is *so* exciting!
