There is like 50 things wrong there...
Most can be explained away as cops being horrible people. But I'm actually curious on why they kept his license? OR his phone, for that matter, but definitely why the license? Did they honestly suspect it was fake? Shitty intimidation tactic? Just another cherry on the asshole sundae?
Admittedly I haven't spent a lot of time in police custody, perhaps that shit is common :-(
